Eagle Scout Charles Hu, member of Scouting America Troop 1397, created a hiking trail behind the Post building on Lewis Drive. 

The trail’s location is shown by the purple line on the property map. The trail is marked with white blazes and logs along the sides to keep users on the designated path. The trail is roughly 1/3 mile long. Trail signs have been posted with usage rules.

A small “campsite” area has also been established off the trail on the far right side of the property.  Local Scout troops are invited and welcome to use the site and trail, with advance permission. To inquire about using the site, email info@legionpost171.org at least a week ahead of your requested date.

The trail is well within our property lines...please respect the privacy of our neighbors and do not hike onto their properties.
